Daniele Cardi was born in Bordighera in the 1984, from a family of entrepreneurs.
Since he was a child, thanks to his maternal grandparents, he travelled around Europe in a RV, falling in love with life on the road.
From middle school onwards, he showed a strong interest in sport, cinema and photography, taking part in school theatrical plays and practising a good number of agonistic sport.
As a gift for the diploma, he's bought himself his first SLR camera and learns how to use it as a self-taught. This passion, however, continues to remain a hobby as he decides to follow the father's footsteps and to devote to business activity. At the age of 20 he take over the jeweller's family and after buying a beach resort when he was 24.
After a series of strong personal experiences, including the death of his father, becomes aware of his life path and decides to radically change it by abandoning the entrepreneurial activity and embracing the passion for photography. In particular when his best friend Michele Graglia (professional ultra-runner and adventurer) involves him in a photographic and documentary project. He then gave up the bathing establishment to enrol in the John Kaverdash Academy of Photography in Milan.
Today he takes his first steps in the world of photojournalism, following personal projects mainly in the social sphere.
